Many organizations have initiated mobile initiatives with production pilots or small-scale rollouts. 2012 brings an opportunity to broaden these deployments and leverage the successes and lessons learned across the enterprise. Because of the large and diverse nature of the constituents, enterprise mobility solutions offer the advantages of the "network effect," which dictates that the value of the network (and solutions that power it) should increase exponentially as the network of users grow. As this expansion occurs, mobile users will increasingly rely on the functions and information available to them through mobile devices, and management will increasingly rely on the enhanced quality of data in central business systems.
